Patriot Sejdiu is set for a new chapter abroad.
According to reports, the former Malmö FF winger has reached an agreement with Romanian side UTA Arad, with an official announcement expected shortly.
The 24-year-old became a free agent at the turn of the year after parting ways with Malmö FF by mutual consent. During his time with the Allsvenskan champions, Sejdiu made 40 competitive appearances and scored nine goals in the sky-blue shirt.
From Malmö FF to Romania
Sejdiu’s career at Malmö FF included multiple loan spells abroad. The Kosovo international spent time in the Netherlands with NAC Breda and Roda JC, gaining valuable experience in European football. Most recently, he featured for Östers IF on loan during the 2025 season.
Now, the winger appears ready to continue his career outside Scandinavia once again.
According to Swedish media sources, Sejdiu has agreed personal terms with UTA Arad, one of Romania’s historic clubs outside the Bucharest region.
